Other Korean Beauty Products Haul

As a continuation of the Skin Food Haul, these are other random Korean beauty products I picked up while I was in South Korea.  In no particular order:

1.  Lovely ME:EX nail stickers-from The Face Shop (which I think is funny because in the U.S. we have The Body Shop!).  I have looked and looked for nail stickers like these in the U.S. and could not find them anywhere!  I saw a cool tutorial on YouTube using these stickers to make combo matte/shiny nails that I wanted to try but I could never find the stickers for it; I had to go all the way to South Korea to get my hands on some.  They're just white crescent-shaped stickers to put on your nails to block off the tips, like French tips, for example.

2.  Lovely ME:EX Milk Tint in 02 Baby Peach (cutest name ever!)- this is also from The Face Shop.  The box says "This milky lotion-type tint, with a moisturizing film made of milk and natural berry extracts, gently protects the lips without dryness or smudging while making them appear attractive as if tinged with flower pigments".  The packaging reminds me of Benetint Posie Tint.  I have used this a few times, and I hate to say that I really don't notice much of a tint on my lips.  It does stain nicely (the swatch is still on my hand) but the stain is barely noticeable on my lips.  The smell of this stuff is INCREDIBLE.  It smells EXACTLY like freshly-crushed strawberries.  Exactly.  Like you just bit into the juiciest strawberry ever.  It's divine.  It has a long doe-foot applicator and .13 fluid ounces.

3.  It Girl's Nail Cone nail polish in 1222A Trench Beige (a very appropriate name for this color)-I found this in a random store in an underground mall.  It's exactly the color of a trench coat, with a very subtle white shimmer running through it.  The formula looks kind of sheer in the bottle, but when I tried it on my nails, it was opaque with two coats.  It has a wide brush, which is my favorite and the kind I find easiest for applying nail color.

4.  Bourjois So Matt Mattifying Top Coat-I bought this at one of the many duty-free stores in the Seoul-Incheon airport.  It's....a mattifying top coat.  I haven't been able to use it yet, but I can't wait to do the nail tutorial I mentioned earlier with matte/shiny nails!

5.  Bourjois eyeshadow #4-I bought this at the same time I bought the mattifying top coat.  It's a gorgeous deep dark purpley-blue color with a minuscule purple shimmer running through it.  It's very dark, but so deep and beautiful; pictures and swatches don't do it justice.  Even the packaging is beautiful!  Plum Noir is what I would call this color if I could name it.  It's stunning, and also paraben free!

6 & 7.  Chanel Rouge Allure lipstick in #90 Pimpante and Chanel Illusion D'Ombre (cream eyeshadow) in #82 Emerveille-I bought these at another duty-free store in Incheon; it was the end of my trip and I was feeling dangerous.  The lipstick is a really pretty coraly-pink color with a slight shimmer.  Honestly, I was a little disappointed by the formula; it can get kind of gloppy and splotchy.  For a Chanel lipstick, and for what I paid for it, it wasn't as epic as I expected it to be.  I do like it and the color looks great on me; I especially love the packaging: you push down on the gold end and it pops out of the case.  Chanel packaging is always so sleek and weighty; love it.
The Illusion D'Ombre is basically a high-end paint pot.  You can use it either as a base or as a regular eyeshadow by itself (but make sure you use a primer if you use it by itself!).  It's a beautiful champagne rose shimmer color, and it came with a small angle brush (but I just use my finger to apply it).

That's it for my Korean beauty haul; I can't wait to try all of these products and post an update!
